Gudrun Petursdottir
Guðrún Pétursdóttir completed a Masters degree in sociology at the Freie Universität Berlin in 1990. Additionally she studied Intercultural Education at the Institut für interkulturelle Erzie- hung. Following this she completed the Teacher Qualification at the University of Iceland. She taught courses at the Teachers University during 2003-2005 and at the Pedagogical Department of the University of Iceland from 2006-2009. For the last 20 years Guðrún has worked in a range of areas in relation to migration issues and teachers training. Since 2003 she has owned and managed the intercultural training organization InterCultural Iceland (www.ici.is). She is the author of two books in Icelandic: Intercultural education(1999) and Everyone can do something, nobody can do everything (2003).
